Spain. 23.04.2018. The DyCon team member José Lorenzo attended the School “Fundamentals and Practice of Finite Elements” organized by the Centre Henri Lebesgue and held in Roscoff (France) from 16th to 20th April 2018. The courses covered three main theoretical topics: Adaptive Finite Element Methods: Convergence and Optimality, Discontinuous Galerkin Finite Element Methods on Polytopic Meshes, and Boundary Element Methods: Design, Analysis and Implementation; as well as a practical introduction to the finite element library XLiFE++ developed by the POEMS team (ENSTA ParisTech).
